Description

The Impact at Origin project is demonstrating a replicable solution for brands across the coffee sector to reduce their climate footprints by reforesting their own supply chains.

Objective

The goal of the project is to demonstrate how the coffee sector can become natural climate and livelihoods solution.

Climate mitigation: The project will work with 700 coffee farmers in Nicaragua, using FARM-TRACE to measure, verify and deliver 18,000tCO¬2 of emissions reductions and removals across 1,400 hectares of land.
