Description

The project leverages satellite imaging and the latest research and developments in artificial intelligence to identify coffee plots down to smallholder level, including identifying the presence or absence of shade trees and agroforestry systems. By adding data ‘layers’ for deforestation, high conservation value and protected areas, climate projections and carbon storage, a set of risk and opportunity metrics will be created.
