Description

Smallholders are particularly vulnerable to climate change. Climate Smart Agricultural (CSA) practices can help smallholders increase productivity and resilience to climate change, while reducing greenhouse gas emission and increase soil carbon sequestration. Several climate-smart/regenerative farming practices are well tested with proven benefits, but often challenging to implement. Objective

The project aims to contribute to climate-resilient, transparent supply chains that will enable farmers to maintain or improve their yields, adjust to changing climatic circumstances, reduce farming risks and eventually increase incomes and food security, with respect for the environment. The tool will create a solution to reward farmers for environmentally friendly practices and CSA and give them insights into the best CSA practices.
